Amazingly and for some also alarmingly, humans benefit every day from minor but similar technologies, such as tools to generate high-quality designs, images, videos and texts in a short time, personalized to our needs, but also, although not always, predictable and similar.

With even more questions than answers about the implications but also possibilities of such technologies, AI itself offers an illuminating vision of the scenario.

GPT-3 itself considers that one of its worst effects is that it lacks originality, since it has been generated by a machine.

Our brain offers a personal and therefore also unique, inventive process, which in combination with technologies, transforms into a second stage of selection, discarding and editing, which thus becomes more advanced, faster, more efficient, that is BETTER.

It is we, with our cultural background and above all, the complicated and intricate ways in which we relate socially, who grant originality to the creations of this new present, working together with natural and artificial intelligence to achieve new results, such as those presented at an art exhibition in San Francisco under the name “Artificial Imagination.»

We are facing a new creativity that, like every modern notion, has a classical equivalent, since it was the Renaissance’s masters who let their assistants paint most of their paintings, taking charge of the final touches of an inner vision that did not matter who executed it, but who did. signed.
